When I was young,

I'd listen to the radio,

waiting for my favorite songs.

When they played I'd sing along.

It made me smile.

Those were such happy times,

and not so long ago.

How I wondered where they'd gone.

But they're back again,

just like a long-lost friend.

昨日重现

年青时的我喜欢收听电台广播，

等待我最喜爱的歌。

一边听来一边唱心情多欢畅。

 【The Carpenters简介】

       The Carpenters(卡朋特兄妹)是由美国人Richard和Karen Carpenter兄妹在60年代成立的，乐团一共推出了20余张专辑，几乎每张专辑的推出都登上美国billboard排行榜首位，期间乐团获得多项葛莱美大奖。至今仍有很多歌手翻唱Carpenters的歌曲，他们最有名的作品大概就是那首《Yesterday Once More》。1983年，Karen由于节食过度引发心脏衰竭离开人世，成为人们深深的遗憾。
